PVC drainage pipes (polyvinyl chloride drainage pipes) are plastic pipelines primarily manufactured from polyvinyl chloride resin with additives such as stabilizers and lubricants, widely used in building drainage systems, municipal wastewater discharge systems, and rainwater collection systems.
Key Characteristics: Excellent corrosion resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and other chemicals, making it suitable for industrial wastewater, domestic sewage, and corrosive environments while preventing rusting in metal pipelines.
The fluid performance features a smooth inner wall (with a friction coefficient of approximately 0.009), resulting in low water flow resistance and a 30% higher flow rate compared to cast iron pipes of the same diameter, while also being resistant to scaling and blockage.
With a weight only one-fifth that of cast iron pipes, it offers significant advantages in lightweight design and cost-effectiveness, featuring low transportation and installation costs while achieving a total construction cost of approximately 60–70% of that of cast iron pipes.
With an expected service life of over 50 years under normal operating conditions and excellent aging resistance, it is particularly suitable for underground or concealed applications.
Easy installation primarily uses adhesive bonding (with PVC-specific adhesive) for high construction efficiency; alternatively, it can employ rubber ring sealing or flange connections to meet various application requirements.
